  • There is a widespread rise in anemia and vitamin deficiencies among children.

  • Deformities in children’s head shapes are appearing due to severe Vitamin D deficiency.

  • Families relying on community food kitchens are facing severe malnutrition because of the lack of essential nutrients.

  • People are being deprived of balanced nutrition, especially vegetables, fruits, and proteins.

  • All babies born since the beginning of the war are suffering from serious complications caused by malnutrition and the shortage of infant formula.

  • These complications include weakened heart muscles, weak immunity, respiratory and digestive infections, liver problems, delayed teething, and delayed movement development.

  • The future of Gaza’s newborns since October 2023 is under threat as the blockade continues.

  • Opportunities for treatment and recovery are very limited, and early malnutrition will have long-term effects on their health.
