Children’s Haircut and Entertainment Project for Displaced Children on Eid Al-Adha

Project Overview

During Eid Al-Adha, the “Be Human” community implemented a humanitarian and recreational project targeting displaced children living in shelters and camps, aiming to bring joy to their hearts and strengthen their sense of happiness and dignity amid the difficult humanitarian conditions they are facing.

The project included providing free haircuts for 150 children, delivered by professional barbers under strict hygiene and sterilization measures to ensure safety and cleanliness. This step helped children welcome Eid with a neat appearance, boosting their self-confidence and giving them a sense of joy and belonging to the spirit of Eid.

The activity was not limited to haircuts only; it also included a comprehensive entertainment program designed to bring smiles to the children’s faces. A special entertainment circle was organized featuring lively performances by a traditional Dabke dance group, creating an atmosphere of excitement and joy, along with a professional clown who engaged children through interactive games, competitions, and fun activities.

In addition, children from the camp actively participated in the celebration through songs and chants performed in front of the audience, giving them the opportunity to express their talents and engage positively in the festive atmosphere, which helped strengthen their confidence and sense of inclusion.

The event concluded with the distribution of juice and biscuits to the children, in an atmosphere filled with happiness and joy, reflecting the positive impact of the project on both children and their families.

Impact

The project successfully brought joy and happiness to displaced children during Eid Al-Adha, strengthening their sense of care and dignity. It also provided a safe space for recreation and social interaction away from the pressures of displacement and hardship. The artistic and entertainment activities contributed to improving the children’s psychological well-being and creating positive memories that remain with them despite the difficult conditions they are living under.

Project Message

At “Be Human,” we believe that every child’s happiness is a fundamental right, and that small humanitarian projects can create a powerful impact on their lives—creating moments of hope and joy that give them strength to continue and look forward to a better future.
