The Story of Resilience of Mohammed Al-Khudari from Gaza

A Story of Resilience from Gaza

This video shares the story of Mohammed Al-Khudari, a teacher from Gaza who survived the bombing of his home and was rescued alive from under the rubble. After facing such a life-altering experience, Mohammed chose not to give up. Instead, he returned to what he believes is his most powerful mission: educating children.

Today, Mohammed teaches in an educational tent, providing children with a safe space for learning, emotional stability, and hope amid ongoing hardship. For these children—who have experienced loss, fear, and displacement—education has become more than lessons; it is a lifeline.

Recently, the Be Human team visited Mohammed and the children, spending time with them and distributing juice and snacks as a small gesture of care and solidarity. During the visit, Mohammed shared his personal journey and spoke about his unwavering belief in the message he carries despite everything he has endured:

“Gaza deserves life.”

This story is one of many that reflect the resilience, dignity, and humanity of the people of Gaza. Through sharing these voices, we aim to remind the world that hope continues to exist—even in the most difficult circumstances.

We invite you to watch the video, share it, and help amplify stories that matter .
